Alexander Hamilton’s impact on America is immense. He was a great influence on the economy and finance. He had a less than stellar background, but he was determined to overcome it. He was strong. He centered his life around things which we still use today and would like to change. Let’s begin with his early life.

Alexander Hamilton was first born on Nevis in the 1700s, a tropical isle. He became an orphan at age twelve when his mother was killed. Local leaders paid for his college education because he was a very good writer. He was George Washington’s first assistant. He also became a founder father. He went to New York in 1814 and established a legal firm. Aaron Burr, however, challenged him to duel. Unfortunately he lost the duel on July 14th 1804.

Alexander Hamilton solved the economic and financial difficulties. Alexander Hamilton is the secretary of Treasury Department. Treasury Department handles America’s fiscal issues like taxes. The government had a debt after the Revolutionary War and the soldiers asked for their money. British troops built forts even on American soil. Alexander was well-prepared to handle the federalists’ and antifederalists’ squabble. The new dollar notes were given power by Alexander, and the public credit method is still used today. But he then left his big office to return to New York.

Alexander Hamilton loved to write and he wrote millions important papers. Alexander was known to have written many articles of confederation. Alexander is also known as being a founder father. Alexander also was a Federalist and wrote The Federalist Papers. Alexander had a passion for the world and wanted to improve the government. Aaron Burr had been his friend for many years, but their disagreements and arguments began through their written works. Aaron Burr did this to Alexander Hamilton, which ultimately led him to die.

Alexander Hamilton’s impact is evident at the end. He guided America through a period of chaos and darkness. Before you died, I could name all the other things He did. He is the reason why country still exists today. I hope you’ll always remember him.
