Adolf Hitler led the invasion of Poland by Germany in World War II. Hitler was the one who led Germany’s invasion of Poland. France and Britain felt uneasy knowing that Germany can invade any time they want. France and Britain declared war to Germany. This began World War II. Many factors led to World War II.

World War II was started by fascisms from Italy during the 1920s and 30s. Invasions of China occurred in the 1930s. Hitler’s 1933 political takeover and aggressive foreign policy led to the overthrow of Germany. The Treaty of Versailles: The Treaty of Versailles was signed in World War I and ended the conflict between Germany and its allies. Germany lost the war, so the treaty was harsh on Germany. Germany was even forced into accepting responsibility for the wartime damages caused by allies. Germany had to make huge payments to its allies under the treaty. Japanese Expansion. Japan was growing rapidly before World War II. But Japan, an island, didn’t have the resources to sustain that growth. Japan invaded Manchuria 1931, and China 1937 to build their empire. Fascism : Fascism led to the overthrow of dictators in certain countries. Franco was the dictator who ruled Spain as its first fascist leader. Mussolini was then able to take control of Italy. These dictators sought out lands to expand their territory. Germany invaded Ethiopia in 1935 and took control of the country. Adolf Hitler would take over Germany from Mussolini.

Hitler and his Nazi Party. Germany was eager to find someone who could turn their economy around and make them strong. Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Party was able to rise to power at this time. Adolf Hitler gave hope to the Germans. Hitler was declared the leader for Germany in 1934. Hitler was against all restrictions placed on Germany by Versailles Treaty. Adolf Hitler formed an alliance with Italy to help expand the empire, and to restore Germany’s power. Austria was its first conquered territory, in 1938. After he realized that the League of Nations wasn’t stopping him, he didn’t do anything about it and took control of Czechoslovakia.

Appeasement: The nations of Europe attacked their neighbours after World War 1. Italy and Germany continued their attacks on their neighbors while Britain and France attempted to maintain peace because they didn’t want another conflict. Many other factors contributed to World War II. World War II was not the result of one individual. It was caused and influenced by many factors. Adolf Hitler’s victory over Germany was a key factor in the creation of World War II.
